The Biting vulva is the ultimate feminist symbol of divinity and empowerment that transgresses patriarchal social mores. As someone who felt as an outsider most of my life, this symbol has provided me with empowerment at times when the world, people or motherhood seemed too much to handle. It's only logical that the flower is an extension of that, simultaneously a mouth, a voice and a delicate blossom. Carnivorous, hungry for sexual encounter, dangerous and independent - everything in a woman that the world might fear.
